Someone a while ago whas selling there own improved saddlematic. Could you please chime in or someone please let me know who it is?
What is the best place to purchase the grover V97 18 tuners,

Just kidding!
I just purchased a set from StewMac for around $38. Gold finish.
It doesn't say V97 in their catalog but I'm sure it's the same Grovers. 18:1 gear ratio, Open back tuners?
Is that what your looking for? It's as good a price as I have found.
I purchased a Sadle-Matic from StewMac last month. Have Not used it yet...getting close though.
I remember the discussion about the saddlematic which was offered but can't remember who was making them. Check the archives, maybe you will find them.

In a previous discusion someone said euphonon was a good place to get these. I am in the UK so have never used this supplier.

Hope it helps a little, As walter said Stewmacs price seems quite good.

I just bought 4 sets from Stew Mac. There is a price break at 3 sets. I have three that are nearing completion, one of them sold already, so I took advantage of the price break.
